Chief Warrant Officer Allan E. Krausz, Jr., enlisted in 1969 at St. Louis, Missouri.  Upon completion of basic training, he was enrolled in the Army flight training program and graduated as a warrant officer in 1971.  Since the, the Silver Eagles "Lead Solo" has accumulated over 2300 flight hours of which 556 hours are combat.  Mr. Krausz received his education at the University of Missouri where he majored in mechanical engineering.
